Smoke Ventilation

Air Conditioning Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) Testing (QCDD Requirements)

Gulf Experts is a trusted provider of comprehensive ACMV system testing and commissioning services for residential and commercial buildings. We understand the critical importance of having a reliable ACMV system in place to ensure the safety of occupants and minimize property damage in the event of a fire. With our expertise and experience.

All Tests are carried out according to QCDD Requirement and as per NFPA standard. And the reports submitted in the approved QCDD forms.

Our Services

Pressurization System such as (Staircase, Lift lobby, Smoke stop lobby

  • Fan performance measurement: Evaluating the efficiency and airflow of fans within pressurization systems to ensure optimal ventilation and smoke control.
  • Measuring the pressure difference across a barrier: Assessing the pressure variations across barriers like doors or partitions in different scenarios to maintain adequate pressurization levels.
  • Measuring the air velocity crossing the open door: Quantifying the speed at which air passes through an open door in pressurized areas to ensure proper air movement and containment.
  • Measuring the door force: Assessing the force required to open or close doors in pressurized spaces, ensuring they are appropriately sealed for smoke control and pressurization purposes.
  • Adjusting the system to meet requirements: Modifying the pressurization system based on measurements and observations to meet specific needs of areas like staircases, lift lobbies, and smoke stop lobbies, ensuring safety and comfort for occupants.

Ventilation System such as (Car Park Supply and Exhaust Fans, JET Fans)

  • Fan performance measurement: Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of fans, such as car park supply and exhaust fans or JET fans, to ensure proper air movement and ventilation.
  • Measuring the air flow: Quantifying the volume or rate of airflow in the ventilation system to determine if it meets the desired levels for adequate ventilation and air quality.
  • Balancing the air flow: Adjusting the distribution of air within the ventilation system, specifically in areas like car parks or tunnels, to ensure the required Air Changes per Hour (ACH) are achieved, maintaining proper ventilation and pollutant control.

Smoke Test (Cold)

  • Carrying out a cold smoke test in all basements areas or atrium to assure that the exhaust air direction is according to CFD and as per design intent.
